Visit Hull and East Yorkshire (VHEY) have announced the shortlist for its tenth annual Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards (REYTAs) and we are delighted that the University of Hull are finalists in the category of ‘Remarkable Business Tourism Venue’.isit Hull and East Yorkshire (VHEY) have announced the shortlist for its tenth annual Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards (REYTAs) and we are delighted that the University of Hull are finalists in the category of ‘Remarkable Business Tourism Venue’. The announcement acknowledges the fantastic service offered by the team at Beyond Events, the University’s event and venue management experts.

The awards, regarded as the tourism ‘Oscars’, recognise the best and brightest in this area’s tourism industry and celebrate the enormous achievements of businesses across Hull and East Yorkshire. Jonathan Rhodes, Conference and Sales Manager, said “The Beyond Events team have worked incredibly hard over the past few months to launch and develop our new brand and help raise the profile of the University as an outstanding venue for conferences and events. Being shortlisted for a Remarkable East Yorkshire Business Tourism award is wonderful recognition of that hard work. We’re incredibly proud of our service and our ‘going beyond’ mission and making the shortlist demonstrates just how far the brand has come since its 2018 launch.”

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Bonus Arena on 14 March.
